Tree Camp at Chetna Farm.
₹2,500 per person per night · twin sharing
A 10×10 ft family tent on an elevated wooden platform. Proper warm bedding. Three farm meals a day. A working farm in the Himalayan foothills.
This is not a glamping resort. The washroom is a short walk from the tent. The land is uneven. The bees are active by 7am. If you want a spa, it's the wrong place. If you want to understand how a natural farm works from the inside, it's the right one.
What's included
- Accommodation in a 10×10 ft family tent on an elevated wooden platform with warm bedding
- Three farm meals daily — vegetarian, sourced from the farm or neighbouring areas
- Vegan and gluten-free options available on request
- Morning farm walk with access to hives, garden, and kitchen garden
- Bicycle access for cycling through local villages
- Optional yoga and pranayama session at dawn
The farm
Chetna Farm sits in the Chalsa block of Jalpaiguri district — at the edge of the Himalayan foothills, close to the Bhutan and Sikkim borders, near Gorumara National Park. The Neora River is a 10-minute walk. On clear mornings, the eastern Himalayan range is visible.
The farm runs Apis cerana hives and a growing number of stingless bee colonies. No chemical inputs, no synthetic fertilisers — not since the farm was established. Mornings are the best time to be near the hives.
