Apis cerana is the indigenous Indian honey bee. Smaller than the European honeybee, more adapted to the local flora, and producing honey with a distinct character that changes with the season and the flowers.
This batch was collected during the tulsi bloom period. The bees forage across the forest margins and open fields around Chetna Farm. The honey is extracted by hand, strained once through muslin, and bottled without heating.
Raw honey granulates over time. That is normal. Place the jar in warm water to re-liquefy if needed.
What you get: 100g glass jar, sealed. Shelf life: 18 months from bottling date.
