Birdwatching & hiking in Neora Valley — Sat to Mon
Neora Valley National Park is one of Northeast India's most biodiverse and least-visited forest sanctuaries. Rufous-necked Hornbill, Satyr Tragopan, Pied Falconet — and dozens of Himalayan species rarely seen elsewhere.
Saturday arrival, forest on Sunday, Monday exit. The alarm goes off at 5am Sunday morning. That's when the valley sings.

The three days
Pick up from Siliguri, drive to homestay on the Neora Valley forest fringe. Afternoon and evening to rest and explore. Optional bonfire.
Alarm at 5:00am. Guided birdwatching walk at first light — binoculars, voices low, senses fully awake. Local naturalist guide for spotting, identification, and species context. Forest hike through the valley after the dawn session. Warm lunch back at the homestay. Afternoon free.
One more quiet morning, then the drive back. Drop at Siliguri, NJP, or Bagdogra.
